Aglika Genova – Liuben
Dimitrov piano duo
Founded in Hanover in 1995, the piano duo Genova
& Dimitrov won all the renowned competitions in this
category during the first three years of its existence –
“Bellini” in Italy (1995), in Tokyo (1996), ARD Music
Competition in Munich (1996) and “Murray Dranoff” in
Miami, USA (1997). Genova & Dimitrov are regular guests
at the major concert halls in Chicago, Washington,
Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Dresden, Stuttgart,
Hanover, Vienna, Tokyo, Paris, Rouen, Brussels, Beijing,
Rio de Janeiro, Athens, Cape Town, Rome and Kiev. Seven
CD productions by the "Artists of the Year 2001" have
already been released by CPO Classics. Television and
radio networks such as the ARD, ZDF, CBS, BBC, RAI, BNT/BNR,
Channel25/WFMT, CCTV, NHK, TV Senado, NPR, CBC Canada
and many others have dedicated to the ensemble a number
of their productions. Since 1993 Aglika Genova and
Liuben Dimitrov collaborate with the legendary
Prof.Vladimir Krainev at the Hanover Music Academy. They
graduated with honours and great success. They earned
the Master Concert Soloists degree. |
