Agathe Leimoni
has received prizes and distinctions in various national
and international competitions. She has participated in
many important festivals in Greece and has performed as
a soloist of symphony orchestras in Rumania, Bulgaria,
Italy and Germany. As a jury member she attended many
international competitions in Greece, Italy, Bulgaria.
At present she is a piano Professor at the National
Conservatory of Greece and Artistic Director at the
Romanos o Melodos Conservatory in Piraeus. She has been
awarded the golden medal of UNESCO and has been
acknowledged as a honorary member of the organization
for her unique teaching and artistic contribution. She
is the founder and Artistic Director of the
International Seiler Piano Competition – Rhodes 2004,
the International Seiler Summer Piano Academy – Rhodes
2005. |
