The
Chamber Collegium
Tutti Soli consists of eight to twelve
promoted, professional musicians, including both well
known singers and instrumentalists from Bulgaria and
abroad. In the period 1983 – 1994 the Collegium took
part in international forums and festivals: Jubilee
Brahms Celebrations in Germany, 20th International
Festival in Spain, Songs Festival in Joensuu, Finland,
Sacred Music Festival in Germany, etc. where they won a
number of special prizes. Since 1996 he has been a
regular guest to prestigious music forums such as Salon
of Arts, Apolonia and in 2003 they participated in the
Baroque International Festival in Istanbul – Turkey. The
ensemble has toured successfully in Denmark, Sweden,
Switzerland, Spain, Germany, Greece, Turkey, etc. During
its 20-year artistic biography has recorded for
Balkanton Johannes Brahms, Liebeslieder, two audio
cassettes and two CDs featuring Renaissance and Baroque
music.
Conductor of the Collegium is
Prof. Virginia AtanAssova,
Ph. D. and Doctor of Music Art in Performance. She is a
Full Professor at Pancho Vladigerov State Music Academy
– Sofia and Ass. Prof. at the American College of
Thessaloniki, Greece.
Barka di Venetia per Padova is a series of secular music
from the Renaissance and early Baroque period with drama
elements, created by two eminent authors – Andriano
Banchieri and Luigi Rossi for solo vocal and
instrumental ensemble. The picturesque voyage on a
Venetian boat is variegated with typical characters,
buffo dialogues, madrigals and brilliant solo
recitatives. |
