Anna Vandi
Coming from a family of musicians, ANNA VANDI graduated in Foreign Languages at La Sapienza University in Rome and Singing, Repertory and Stage Direction at the Accademia in Osimo.
A prize winner of the competitions Busoni and AS.LI.CO, she developed an early career on the stages of theaters such as the Rome Opera, La Scala in Milan, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Carlo Felice in Genoa.
Due to the specific features of her voice she feels at ease in a repertory ranging from Baroque to contemporary music and often performs works, written especially for her. Along with her career as a singer she now dedicates herself to teaching based on the principles of Jo Estill's control method. She is currently Professor of Voice at the Conservatory of Music Alfredo Casella and teaches vocal technique at the Santa Cecilia Academy.
