Currently he is pursuing his DMA at the University of Southern California as a student of Midori. An active member of the IRIS Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Michael Stern, Simeon is the acting Concertmaster of the Sacramento Philharmonic and the Arizona Chamber Orchestra. Simeon was awarded full-scholarships to the Eastman School of Music, NY as a student of Zvi Zeitlin, and later to Yale University under the guidance of Ani Kavafian. He was also the recipient of the honors upon graduating the Idyllwild Arts Academy, the Eastman School, and Yale University, and most recently received the Distinguished String Student award from the University of Southern California. Simeon has had the chance of sitting in the Concertmaster seat for the International Chamber Orchestra, Young Soloists of New York Chamber Orchestra, as well as for the symphony orchestras of Reno (Nevada), Eastman School, Yale University, Pacific Music Festival (Japan), Tanglewood Music Festival, SolliAll Orchestra (Korea), under conductors such as K. Massur, R. Abado, V. Gergiev, J. Williams, K. Penderecki, J. Levine, H. Rilling and others.

Simeon has also performed in chamber ensembles with principal players of the Vienna Philharmonic, members of the Tokyo Quartet, as well as Jeromme Lowenthal, Zvi Zeitlin, Giora Schmidt. Besides performing concert music, he is an active participant in recording sessions for major Hollywood motion picture soundtracks. As a member of a piano trio, Simeon performed a chamber music recital at the opening of the 2006 Apolonia Festival in Sozopol. Besides on commercially released CD's, his recordings have been archived by ABC Television, The National Public Radio, as well as the Bulgarian National TV and Radio "Plovdiv".
