Philippe Ivanov
The Belgian pianist of Bulgarian origin Philippe Ivanov (b.1988) has played as a soloist of the Royal Flemish Philharmonic, the Brussels Philharmonic, the Sofia Soloists Chamber Orchestra, the Bulgarian New Symphony Orchestra and the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra. He won 3rd prize at the Hamamatsu International Piano Academy (Japan, 2013), Premio Silvio Bengalli (Pianello Val Tidone, Italy, 2010), the Chopin Prize at the International Chopin Competition within the International Summer Academy in Salzburg (2010). He has appeared in prestigious venues and concert halls such as the Center of Fine Arts in Brussels, the Salzburger Festspiele, Weill Recital Hall-Carnegie Hall and the Ottawa Chamber Festival.
