VENEZIELA NAYDENOVA was born in Varna where she
graduated from Dobri Hristov Music School in the piano
class of Katya Tsvetkova.
Afterwards she
received her diploma in musicology in opera dramaturgy
subject at the State Music Academy in Sofia.
Since 1991 she has
lived and worked in Switzerland. She specialized at
Conservatoire Supérieur de Genève.
Veneziela Naydenova is
a professor in piano at the Conservatory of Neuchâtel
and has an active concert activity as a conductor and
Art Director of a music season named Musique au chœur.
GRAZIELA VALCEVA-FIERRO graduated from Dobri
Hristov Music School in Zlatka Kuncheva's class and
later from the State Music Academy of Sofia in the class
of Reni Penkova.
She specialized at
Boris Christoff Academy in Rome and also at
Conservatoire de Lausanne.
She was prizewinner at
the competitions Giuseppe di Stefano à Trapani,
Francisco Vinas and others. Mrs. Fierro has performed as
soloist in Italy, France, Austria, Portugal, Canada, USA
and Japan and has worked with eminent conductors such as
Bruno Campanella, Armin Jordan, Peter Maag...
The singer's
repertoire includes roles from the Baroque to the 20th
c. in operas by Monteverdi, Gluck, Rossini, Verdi,
Bizet, Britten...
In addition to her
opera appearances she is regularly invited to sing in
chamber concerts, recitals and cantata-oratorio works. |
