MARIO HOSSEN is a virtuoso with an impressive
style of performance, masterfully combines the classical
approach with a romantic expressiveness.
Soloist with
international reputation, he has performed with
orchestras including the English Chamber Orchestra,
Bruckner Orchestra Linz, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,
Orchestra da Camera de La Scala di Milano...
He has been met with a
storm of applause in Carnegie Hall, Konzerthaus Vienna,
Brucknerhaus Linz, Salle Gaveau Paris, Victoria Hall
Geneva, Tonhalle Zürich. He is one of the most
fascinating Paganini performer of his generation.
The violinist is
holder of many international prizes and awards. He is
Associated Professor at New Bulgarian University, Sofia
and Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, Madrid.
ORPHEUS Academy
Orchestra was created in 2006 by Mario Hossen within the
programme of the International Music Academy Orpheus
(organized by the New Bulgarian University, Sofia in
cooperation with universities of Vienna, Basel, Madrid,
Milan and Paris).
At the core of the
orchestra are 20 strings- brilliant young musicians
attending the master courses at the Academy Orpheus.
In addition to the
master courses a Music Festival is organized within the
framework of the Academy where the Orpheus Academy
Orchestra presents the results of their intense
repertoire study.
The orchestra's
performances are noted for their extraordinary density
and large radiance. |
