Roman Baths

Situated in the South-East part of Varna, the Roman Baths are the largest public antique building, remained from Roman times in Bulgaria. The well preserved walls surround an impressive structure of about 7000 square meters.

Aladzha Monastery

Located 17 km far to the north of Varna, cut in the rock, the monastery is a chain of monastic cells, two churches and a chapel on several floors.To the south of monastery are situated the catacombs, which probably were hermits' cells and monastic groves. The monastery is among the most visited places along the Bulgarian sea coast.

This unique natural place is located 18 km far to the west of Varna. The stone columns are high 5-6 m and wide up to 2.5 m. They are limestone formations containing numerous fossils. The area looks like a desert due to the sands and scanty vegetation. 

"Golden Sands" Tourist Resort 

Golden Sands is the largest tourist resort to the North coast of Bulgaria. It is located 18 km far from Varna. It is near to "St. Constantine and Helena" Tourist Resort. The beaches are long 3,5 km and wide 100 m. There are many facilities for the tourists - pools, tennis courts, balneology, exchange offices. There is a regular transport between the resort, the town and the airport - busses No. 9, 109, 209, 309, 409.

"St. Constantine and Helena" Tourist Resort 

The oldest tourist resort on the Bulgarian sea coast is located in the vicinity of Varna - only 8 km from the town. The resort is famous with its unique combination of mountain air, mineral springs and sunny beaches.
